On Monday I was invited to an evening reception at Downing Street, where I was delighted to gift our Prime Minister , Boris Johnson, with a new Ocean Plastic Pot in Dark Grey.
The pot was manufactured in Scotland using rope and and fishing net collected from Scottish Beaches during World Ocean Clean Up day 2021.
I was also delighted to meet Michelle Ferguson, Managing Director of the Royal British Legion Enterprises - Scotlands Leading Social Enterprise employing injured Ex-Forces personnel to manufacture a range of various products including new signs for the Queens Platinum Jubilee.We had a great conversion about product innovation, British manufacturing and the joy of just making things in Scotland!!
